ELI'S MISSION CALL!

 Eli finally got his papers submitted on January 31st! The stake tried to submit them a couple of times...once when they didn't have the papers, then Bishop had an error on his end, then Jared didn't want to submit any papers with any blanks so he filled in the eyesight part with "n/a" meaning he had no eye sight - ha ha! Then we got it all squared away and then the stake called and said it was to early to submit it and he had to wait till it was 150 days away! Finally they got submitted and we honored the day with a box of Samoa cookies - he is manifesting Samoa - his screen saver is the Samoan temple, he's learned all about the island, etc. 

When the Church is getting ready to send out your call they create a missionary email and you can log in over the weekend or in Eli's case on Thursday and check and see if an email has been created in his portal...if it's there you know your call is coming on Monday or Tuesday. Thursday his missionary email was uploaded to the portal. 

Tonight at 7:15pm, Eli got the text from the Church...his call has arrived and can be viewed! Eli has dreamt about having a house full of people to watch him open his call so we sent out the mass texts and invited everyone to our house tomorrow night at 8:30pm to open his call! 

I am just sitting here so overwhelmed to think that for a moment in time Eli was the church's priority as they sat there and stared at his piture and decided where in the wolrd he needed to go serve! It's very overwhelming and beautiful. 

Jared mentioned that he was preordained for his mission and it's all been set in place before he even came to this earth. 

Tomorrow is going to be a long day, but an amazing one! We are so excited for him!!
