TRANSFERS!

Sorry chat its been pretty crazy and I keep forgetting to write. To start off last week we had transfers and im in Villa Maria still, butttt I am a trainer now . I love it so much and im super excited to train my kid. He is from Texas, his name is Elder Roberts, hes a white and doesnt know too much spanish but you just gotta love it. I actually am really excited to train though, and have the opportunity to help a new missionary and shape him for the future. Nothing too crazy has happened other than the transfer news but here are some updates:

I ate fried ants (im not kidding, and these were some giant ants)

I took a convert for the first time to the temple and after i finished baptizing him, the worker was like "can you please baptize more people?" And i was like oh yah, and next thing I see is a lady in a wheel chair with only one leg, then she gets out of her chair and hops into the font and I baptized her. That was my first baptism with someone with one leg, it wasnt like she had a prothestic one on either

Elder Parra is leaving today to the offices, and on Saturday he goes home . After 2 years he finished his mission and ill miss him a lot

We put a baptism date for the 20th of December so let's hope that pulls through

Christmas and New Years is supposedly super crazy in Peru, so stay tuned to see what that looks like

Spiritual Thought: I had a question about revelation and how i can receive it and when to know if something is revelation or not, like a dream or just an answer in general. And I learned two things from two places. 1 was 1 Nephi when Lehi says "i have dreamed a dream, or in others words i have seen a vision." For me this was a direct answer, because dreams can be answers to questions as well, and the second part was a devotional by Elder Bednar, and he gives the steps to receiving revelation and what it actually is. He said revelation has two parts, 1 a lot of time we dont know we receive revelation until after it happens, and 2 repition is a pattern of revelation. So if i keep seeing the same stuff or preaching the same stuff, that turns into a pattern of revelation. My challenge is for you guys to try and recognize revelation in your life and see what can happen
