MORE GREAT EXPERIENCES!

Another great day today i wonder if these emails bring as much impact as I want them to, and knowing mom im hoping secretly deep down that she is keeping my emails that I send. But today started off normal but then we had a lesson with a guy that had a baptismal date and has been in teaching for 4 years that we dropped because his mom wont let him get baptized and she kinda brainwashed him into thinking our church was bad. But today he was like elderes can we meet? And we said uhh sure and then he told us he has been praying all week and God gave him a clear answer that he needs to get baptized. So now we are super super excited for him for the 28th of March and hopefully his moms heart can be softened. Thats one of my gifts from my patriarchal blessing that I love is being able to soften the hard hearted.
The other story was our final lesson and its a couple and they are awesome they are just waiting for the perfect time to be married (they've been together for 14 years) and we had a superhero powerful lesson today and the girl started to cry, and I thought to bring up the twins and it makes me cry without fail every single time. She started crying because she wants her brother (whose in jail) to be at the wedding and they are waiting on him but a member we brought with us talked about examples and it made me think of the twins because like i said the one thing that makes me cry everytime is when i say Im the first grandkid (besides hunter) to leave on a mission and I just wanna set an example for everyone especially my younger brothers because I love them so much and wanna show them that the mission is something irreplaceable and now they are getting their patriarchal blessings and I could not be more excited for you twins.
We have seen miracles lately in the missionary work and I wouldnt trade the little time ive been on the mission for anything else. I was always excited but never thought much of it, but now with the experience I have its something I am grateful for. I just wanted to finish off by saying this gospel changes lives and I could not be more happy with the missionary work and the gospel we have grown up in. Thanks to mom and dad we can be together forever and know that death isnt the end and they have set a great example for us to follow in order to have happy lives in this world. I love you guys so much and the support youve given me and for giving me great examples to follow.

Love you all and cant wait to talk on sunday

WHAT'S GOOD CHAT?!

Sorry for not writing last week I was so tired but lemme give yall some updates

-We were returning from a lesson way up in the mountains late at night and we were cooked because its dangerous at night and we were walking and out of no where members see us and pick us up in the car
#clutchmembers

-We drove 2 hours to give a health blessing and it was the most peaceful place in Ayacucho ive been too, it was so cool

-I ate some cow stomach with rice and it was not good

Spiritual Thought: The past weeks have been super super powerful in the mission. We have been doing a lot of teaching on the atonement, baptism, and the sacrament. Its been super super good for me because I have been getting a really good grasp on how powerful the atonement is and how much love Jesus has and how perfect it really is. I invite all of you to study at least one thing about the atonement this week and just see what it can do for you

Thats it for this week and I hope yall have been super good

READ TWINS!

Whats up family how's it going. Today has been a very very good day and i wanna tell the twins and all of you about it. We have been talking about the Atonement and the sacrament and baptism a lot today. Like every lesson was about those three things which never happens. And in the first lesson it was with a recent convert and she hadn't attended church or had lessons with the missionaries in a long time. But today we talked about the Sacrament and the Atonement and Repentance and one scripture I shared with her was

Alma 36:20 which says: And oh, what joy, and what marvelous light i did behold; yea, my soul was filled with joy as exceeding as my pain!

And this is talking about the joy of repentance and she absolutely loved this scripture and starting crying because oh how true it was and how powerful the atonement is. And it almost made me tear up because it hit me like a truck the message that we missionaries carry. We carry a message that brings hope, love, charity, and peace into peoples lives and it is something that you can never replace. And Tyler and tyson idk what your thoughts on the mission are but for me it was scary leaving even though I was super excited to start one, but now that im out here (2 transfers away from 1 year on the mission) there has NEVER been a doubt in me that this is the wrong thing. The joy this work brings is something I cant describe and im super super excited to see whats in store for me and for you twins. Another experience we just had was a guy who has been in teaching for 4 YEARS, and still doesnt feel ready, but today we had a super super good lesson and I invited him to do a prayer where right before he finishes by saying "in the name of Jesus Chrsit amen" he needs to wait for 10 seconds in silence. And so he did that and during the 10 seconds he starting crying a bit because the spirit was super strong and you could like touch it because it was so powerful. And its because of the message we have as missionaries. And today I realized that this super is something marvelous and changes lives and I promise you from the bottom of my heart if I could restart right now I would, because these experiences are something out of this world that mean so much to me. And I am literally 2.5 transfers away from being halfway done on my mission which is insane to me. And i know yall still got till like December to start papers but itll come fast and I want you boys to hear this words from me and from what happened to me today, because today was super powerful for me and ill never forget, Im sure dad can say the same things, the things that happen and occur on the mission are life changing and you realize how much this gospel and the atonement of Jesus Christ really means to us

I love you all and I hope you twinners read this. Cant wait to talk on sunday 🫰

TRANSFER #5 FINISHED!

Whats good chat we just finished transfer number 5 in the mission and i am with the same comp and still District Leader in Ayacucho!! Im super excited for this transfer so lemme hit yall with some news

Baptized hermano Lenin 2 days ago!! It was easily my favorite experience and he got the priesthood before church and gave me and my comp the sacrament 🥲

I taught a lesson in Quechua with my zone leader 3 days ago and it was super cool

Wednesday felt like death and it was probably the most sick ive ever been but its chill we got over it

Spiritual Thought: After Lenins baptism he said something I loved. Which was "same body, new soul" and its so so true. And its been sticking with me because we receive these things from God to help our souls and progress more in this life. We keep the same bodies but we can always improve

But yah thats all of the recent updates nothing too crazy, hope yall had a great week

Love all of you guys and hope all goes well 🧑🏿‍🍼❤️

7 MONTHS IN THE MISH!

Whats popping chat how's it going? This week flew by per usual and the carnvials are getting crazy hahaha but I love it. I did get water balloons chucked at me and even a paint balloon which sucks (someone give me advice to take out paint out of a white church shirt)

But lemme give yall some updates

Me and the zone leaders decorated for a birthday party for a little girl and she was sooo surprised and loved it. It was very fun to do that for her and I loved her reaction

Ran some more intercambios with the zone leaders in my district and its been really fun and I love living in a house of 4 elders

My 4th transfer has almost come to an end and it flew byyyy and im excited to see what I do next transfer

Ive been having some water balloon wars with kids on the streets just to get to lessons, the carnvials are insane here in Ayacucho and we even have a rule where we have to be home at 7pm every night because it gets crazy

We have another baptism this Saturday which is super exciting. For those who dont know my area has been struggling for about 9 months and not much progress has happened but me and my comp have just been working and we are seeing really good progress

Thats all of for the updates this week nothing too crazy happened but stay tuned for next weeks when I figure out the transfer news 🤙

Spiritual Thought: One thing ive seen as a District Leader is the power of revelation. Every week I make presentations to give to our district and its super cool to see how much revelation i get and how fast I get it. Because one thing I wanna do is just have the missionaries leave better and learned something from this transfer with me and through all of this we can all see improvement and its super cool, ive been learning a ton this transfer and im super excited to see what the future holds in my mission

Anyways I love you all and I hope you guys all have a great day and week

CARNAVALES!

Whats popping chat how's it going? Sorry for not writing last week and not giving yall some good content but we are here now. The carnvials just started here in Ayacucho and it is so fun. Every February only in Ayacucho people do some crazy stuff and this week starting on Thursday we have to be at home at 7 instead of 9:30. Its tradition to throw water balloons at people and just get people wet on the streets and yes ive already had balloons and water guns thrown and shot at me and its so funny. Its like little 8 year olds running around just drenching people and adults will get in on it too. Lemme hit yall with some updates on the week

-A member told me its a sin to not have money after I told him ima broke missionary

-Our baptismal date fell through and his mom is making him go to a Catholic Church even though this kid has the huge desire to be baptized 😢

-We are going to Razuhuillca today and going to see some wild alpacas

-I figured out my area is 9,000 feet into the mountains and where my pday is today is 15,000 feet up 🤩

-Had multizone with president and it was pretty fire and as always powerful

-I keep having water balloon wars with my new pensionista and its so funny, we eat in normal clothes now so we dont get soaked by him in pros clothes

Spiritual Thought: So we had zone counsel and my zone leader assigned me to give a presentation about the importance of being obedient and being good with phones and it went really really well. He knew I had some difficulties with my phone my first and second transfer and he sees where I am now so he asked me to give a presentation because I can relate personally, and oh my days it was good. I started tearing up at the end of my presentation while baring my testimony because I started talking about the pure joy and happiness I feel doing the work and not worrying about my phone, because its true. Leaving behind the things of the world for 2 years is relieving and just being all in on the work has given me joy and happiness I didnt know existed. You would think walking and talking all day would get boring and yes im exhausted at the end of the day but its all worth when at the end of the day I just feel so good. That would be my invitation to yall this week is to try and live the gospel to a higher standard this week and see what happens. Try doing the things of the Lord and just see how the week changes

I love yall very much and miss all of you, hope you guys have a great week 🫰
