THE INCONVENIENT MESSIAH!
Lemme give yall some updates on the week and then a fire spiritual thought:
- A general 70 (Elder Roman) came to the mission and we had a multizone with him and half of the mission
- Then we had a meeting with him and all of the zone leaders in the mission it was super powerful and we are gonna make some great changes to the mission and im excited to see the results. We talked about a lot of great things and learned a lot
- Had some exchanges with the APs and it was super fun, I learned a lot and me and the AP (Elder Dabo) were just talking about baseball, and our experiences in the mission
- We have a baptism this week with a super selected person (I perfer using selected instead if elect because of the meanings they use in spanish and it makes more sense to me) his name is Francisco, we found him 2.5 weeks ago through a social media reference and he even wants to clean the church with the members. Thank you guys for your prayers, they truly do work!!
Spiritual Thought: As the title says, I wanna talk about the story of the Savior when he was tempted 3 times by the adversary during his 40 day fast of food and water. Jesus was tempted 3 times: once by physical temptation (wanting to eat and drink water), then Spiritual temptation (giving up his spirit to Satan so he could save his people), and lastly He was tempted by the things of this world (Satan offered anything Jesus could ever want if he just stopped fasting and showed himself as the Messiah of the world and saved his people in that very moment of the story. And what did Jesus do? He took the hard way out or the inconvenient way out so he could align his will with God's will, because Jesus knew that God's will and plan is greater than anyone else's, and when we do rhe inconvenient things so we can become closer to God, we will 100 percent without a doubt be blessed. A perfect example is Jesus in that story, he took the inconvenient way and waited (and is still waiting) to be the Messiah, because Gods plan is perfect (even when Adam and Eve fell, that was part of God's perfect plan) and if we stay apart of his plan we cant go astray
I love you and I hope and pray you can align your will with Gods and take the inconvenient route so than you can end up convient with God (is that quote of the year???)
Have a great week fam
