BAPTISMMMMM!

Whats good guys hope all is well, lemme give yall some updates

- We had multizone and it was super powerful, we talked a lot about how we can become better men for our future wives and family and it was super powerful because family is something super super important for me

- We had a baptism for hermans Maria!!!! This was an absolute miracle because she has in teaching for 7 YEARS but has never wanted to be baptized (keep in mind normally for the average person to progress towards baptism its like at most 4 months or less). And this baptism made me think a lot on my patriarchal blessing which I have studied a lot. It talks a lot about softening peoples hearts and always helping people and i have had the glorious opportunity to see these gifts in my mission so far

- Nothing much happened we were in Lima for 3 days so not much got done but our area is doing really good with our progressing friends

Spiritual Thought: I just wanted to thank tall for your prayers for the missionary work and for me. I have 1000 percent been able to see miracles thanks to you guys and I am super appreciative of it. And do not worry your prayers are not going to waste for 2 reasons. 1 is God hears and answers all prayers on his timing and 2 is that I am using all the time i got in the mission and not wasting it and with your prayers we have been seeing miracles happen so thank you all for your faith in me and the missionary work

Love you all so much and hope you guys have a good week!! ❤️🔥

Here are some photos from the multizone and my pday today (we hiked to a waterfall)

MULTIZONEEE!

Whats good chat how's it going??? This week was honestly pretty chill, nothing to crazy happened. Our baptismal dates are progressing and we are very happy about that. I hit 9 months on the mission which is insane to me, its so fast. Lemme give yall some updates on the week

- Quote from my comp "I got 2 brain cells and they are both fighting for 3rd place" 💀

- Went on some exchanges this week and it was super fun, I really love exchanges because I like learning something new from each missionary and the habits of each missionary

- Big week for my brothers, they had prom, got their patriarchal blessings (im sooooo happy for them 🥹), and they were cheerleaders for the powderpuff game. Shoutout Tyler and Tyson

- We have multizone this week and im so excited man, I get to visit my old area again and i cannot wait

- I only got like 4 more weeks in Ayacucho which is kinda sad because its so beautiful here and i am starting to see the fruits of my labors in my area, but im also excited to see where the Lord takes me after Ayacucho (maybe ill train for the 3rd time)

- Im learning Quechua and I am gonna share my testimony in Quechua when im in Arizona

Like I said this week was chill but lemme give yall a scripture I loved this week

2 Nephi 6: 3 Nevertheless, I speak unto you again; for I am desirous for the welfare of your souls. Yea, mine anxiety is great for you; and ye yourselves know that it ever has been. For I have exhorted you with all diligence; and I have taught you the words of my father; and I have spoken unto you concerning all things which are written, from the creation of the world

While im on the mission ive been searching for two things in specific in the scriptures. One is promises from our Heavenly Father and his Prophets or scriptures about the missionary work, and I just really loved this scripture because its what I wanna do/be as a missionary ya feel?

But yah thats all for this week chat, hope yall have a good one and are living the good life

Heres the google photos for yall:

TRANSFER NEWS!

Whats good chat this email is a week late but we got transfers last week and I am staying in Ayacucho as a District Leader for 1 more transfer!!! And my new comp is named Elder Mitchells and heres some facts on him

-Elder Mitchell: looks just like Mikey from the Tren Twins, from Montana, has 3 months in the mission, bench: 275 squat: 405 deadlift: 455, hes the goat 🐐 (love this dude)

Lemme give yall some more updates now

-The power of the gift of tongues (understanding a lot of Quechua in the lesson and being able to give a really good lesson with this girl, we even have a book of Mormon in Quechua for her)

-"We are never bothering someone if we are changing their lives in the missionary work" Elder Davila

-"You are mine, i will not forget you, i will bring you home" - Gary E Stevenson

- This is for my future missionaries: The Lord preparing people for you to teach that you already knew in the Spirit World and are waiting for you to teach and bring them back unto Christ. There have been Peruvians i have recognized and i have never been in Peru before and these people have all progressed to baptism (its truly insane)

-We put 4 baptismal dates this week with superrrrrr cool people #PowerOfTheCompanionship

Spiritual Thought: There has been a time in everyone ones life where they have wanted to trade places with a friend or family matter because that person is sick or suffering and we just wanna help that person by trading places with them. Jesus did that for us, he traded places for us just so he could save us and talk to us and be with us, open that door and please accept the love he has for you, because he atoned for our sins and suffered on the cross for US and nothing else, so please open that door and accept this perfect love he has for each and every one of you

But yah thats all for this week, i love all of you and hope you all have great weeks. Here's some photos from the week with my goated comp

Also here is the google photos:

First photo is my new district (there is a sister missionary named hermana Jensen that is in my district now 🤠)

POWERFUL MOMENTS EN AYACUCHO!

So we had a really really cool lesson today (Dad you better keep this email) so basically we were in a lesson and we ask this old lady if she has any family members or friends we can teach today and she said yah lemme grab my daughter, so she does. And we were doing in the lesson (in quechua by the way because the grandma only speaks Quechua, and so a member came with us to translate) and the daughters tells us how her mom is suffering from schizophrenia and has mental problems and at the end of the lesson the member offered to give a blessing to the old lady so we did, and right before I gave the blessing I had the strongest feeling to promise the craziest thing to the daughter. I said "we explained how your mom's faith will heal hear, but something came to my mind that I wanna promise you, if you read this book (book of mormon) and pray and attend church, I promise you in the name of Jesus Christ your mom will be healed." And this daughter was just in shock, like how can someone promise this to anyone, and she said ok elder I will do these things, and after the lesson the member was like wow she is gonna progress to baptism after that promise. The spirit was soooooo strong and just insane how I can even promise something like that to anyone, that if they read a book that there mom will be healed from a sickness and will be healthy. I know in these stories I cry a lot but its because its so powerful man. Like I teared up while telling her this because it was like God was sitting right next to me telling me to promise these things and it will work out. So now in the next visit we are gonna put her on a baptismal date and watch her progress. I just wanted to end by testifying saying that the mission and its experiences are something irreplaceable and too powerful to miss out on. These 2 years are sacred and I want to make the most of everyday and every second so I can have moments like these and change peoples lives l.

Love you family and I hope you guys appreciate all of the story times hahaha

BRADEN'S HEART!

For the first time in 8 months on the mission i felt the need to give one of the "you matter" hearts to a convert. She asked us why we keep visiting her or talking her if she isnt attending church and she just felt so bad about it. And I looked at her in the eyes and starting crying a lot and told her the story of Braden (ive never told anyone this on the mission until now) and I told her im here just to help people feel peace and happiness, im not just here to baptize and get mad if someone doesnt attend church, and I said you mean everything in the eyes of God and Jesus did all of these things just to be with you and help you and I wanna do the same thing. I can see and feel the love God has for you and I want to share that love with you and make sure you know you are loved and "you matter". And then i stopped the lesson and ran back to my house to grab the gift and i gave her the little package with the hearts and I said I probably have 5 of these and this is the first one ive ever given out because I feel so strongly that you need this. And so I explained the gift and what it meant and started crying a ton because this moment was probably the most amount of Gods love ive ever shown someone in my life especially on my mission. And she started crying just being so appreciative. I can testify that I felt Bradens love and ESPECIALLY God's love in this lesson and this gift and I was guided to do these things.

Love you more than anything family and I hope you guys have a great week and can feel the infinite and perfect love God has for all of you this week

Here's the photo of me giving the gift (just wiped the tears before this pic)

Remember you guys matter and if you havent thought it before let this email be proof
